John C. Joe, MD, MPH, FAAFP has a long and varied work experience in the medical field. From 2017 to present, they have been the CEO, Board Member, and Co-Founder of Vigor Medical Systems, a revolutionary patented device and digital health platform and services for diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases. From 2000 to present, they have been the Director and Co-Founder of Cognixon, HealthLink Systems, and Zero Day Group LLC, which provide analytics, AI, automation, operations, security, and technology services and software solutions to corporations, governments, health systems, investors, and technology suppliers. From 2005 to present, they have been an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center. From 1996 to 2005, they were an Adjunct Professor, Assistant Professor, and Medical Director at Baylor College of Medicine. From 2005 to present, they have been a Board Member and President of Harris County Academy of Family Physicians. From 2011 to present, they have been a Board Member of the Texas Institute of Health Care Quality & Efficiency. From 2010 to present, they have been the Chief Medical Information Officer of St. Luke's Health System. From 2001 to present, they have been an Astronaut Health & Systems Consultant for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. From 2009 to present, they have been the Founding Executive Director of Greater Houston Healthconnect. From 2006 to present, they have been the CEO, Board Member, and Co-Founder of Prognosis Healthcare Systems.
John C. Joe, MD, MPH, FAAFP completed a Family Medicine & Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine, a Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center, a Master of Public Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), and was a National Merit Scholar at Rice University.
