Julia Albanese

Julia Albanese is a skilled designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently working at VIKTORIA & WOODS since February 2022, focusing on tailoring, outerwear, cut & sew jersey, and loungewear. Prior to this role, Julia served as a Design Assistant for Apparel Structured at Country Road Group, gaining expertise in jackets, pants, and jumpsuits from July 2019 to February 2022. Julia has also held positions as a Quality Control Assistant at Lucy Folk Jewellery and as a Design Intern at WHITE STORY, where responsibilities included trend forecasting and creating mood boards. Early career experiences included roles at Calvin Klein as a Sales Assistant, internships with Nicholas the Label and CHANEL, as well as participation in fashion events like Melbourne Fashion Week. Julia holds a Bachelor of Fashion Design (Honours) from RMIT University and has completed additional courses in fashion illustration and drawing.
