Nishitha Kannan is a qualified specifications technologist at The Village Bakery Group since November 2022, previously serving as a food laboratory technician in new product development at Biocatalysts Ltd, where the focus was on manufacturing enzymes for food applications. Nishitha has experience as a course representative at Cardiff Metropolitan University while also developing vegan gluten-free bakery products at Puratos. With earlier roles as an NPD technologist at Food Buddies and a quality assurance intern at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd, Nishitha gained detailed knowledge in beverage production and quality assurance procedures. Additional internships at Hatsun Agro Product Ltd and Parle Agro Pvt Ltd provided hands-on experience in food production and analysis. Nishitha holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from St. Joseph's College of Engineering.
