Carolyne Namusisi

As Community Associate at Village Capital, Carolyne supports the Global Ventures team in curating, managing, and engaging a global network of expert mentors and investors.

She is particularly passionate about creating safe and sustainable communities through social entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, and strengthening quality formal education systems.

Carolyne joined Village Capital with several years of experience supporting community-driven and power shifting social justice issues, project design/implementation for youth and Education development initiatives, movement building, and understanding of how overlapping systems of disadvantage affect various groups. She launched a Community of Practice for Spark Microgrants partners. Worked with Educate! and Stir Education to ignite youth potential while facilitating mindsets change and innovation among teachers and education leaders to improve learning outcomes in Africa and beyond.
