Tony Costa

Tony Costa has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Tony started their career in 1989 as a Senior Engineer at QPSX Communications, where they worked on designing and developing a carrier-grade telecommunications switch. In 1996, they joined Jtec as a Team Leader and Senior Engineer, where they took on project management and team leadership roles, and contributed to the development of line cards and interfaces for telecommunications carrier-grade switches, as well as Ethernet switches.

In 2001, Tony transitioned to Lateral Sands, initially serving as a Company Director and eventually becoming the CEO. At Lateral Sands, they were responsible for business development and overall company management. Lateral Sands specializes in ASIC Design Solutions and has a track record of over 10 successful years in the microelectronics industry, serving more than 50 clients worldwide.

In 2019, Tony joined Village Energy as a Solutions Architect. In this role, they are responsible for designing and developing the hardware platform for the company. Village Energy focuses on helping grid operators improve the reliability and affordability of providing energy to remote villages and towns.
