Terry S.

Terry S. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. They started their career in 2006 as an Administrative Specialist at DynCorp International. From there, Terry worked as an HR & Administration Officer at LVCT HEALTH from 2008 to 2016. During their time at LVCT HEALTH, Terry also served as an Administrative Assistant and was responsible for various tasks such as coordinating meetings and organizing travel logistics.

In 2016, Terry joined MicroEnsure as the Human Resources and Administration lead for the Africa region. They handled recruitment, policy development, performance management, and initiated projects to enhance operational processes. Terry then joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in 2017 as a Senior Human Resources Project Officer providing support to the Africa region until 2019.

In 2019, Terry took on the role of the Director of Talent Management at Village Enterprise, where they were responsible for overseeing talent acquisition and development. They later advanced to the position of Senior Director, People and Culture.

Terry also contributed their expertise in Human Resources and organizational systems strengthening as a Board Member at INUA KIKE, a community-based organization in Nairobi, Kenya. They served on the inaugural Board of Advisors from 2019 to 2021 and played a key role in empowering women through mentorship and skills building.

Terry S. has a diverse education history. In 1997, they began their undergraduate studies at Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in Jabalpur, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time there, they focused on Economics, Political Science, and Sociology, completing their studies in 2000.

After a gap of several years, Terry S. enrolled at Moi University in 2009 to pursue an Executive MBA. Their field of study was Human Resource Management, and they completed their degree in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Terry S. has also obtained various certifications. In 2015, they became a Certified WISDOM Coach™ through Adventures in Wisdom Inc. In 2022, they obtained a certification from the Faith Driven Entrepreneur foundation group.
