Lauren Murphy

Lauren Murphy serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Village Health Works since September 2023, leading the financial strategy for the international non-profit organization and managing relationships with the board's finance committee. Previously, Lauren held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Adludio for a decade, successfully spearheading Series B fundraising and increasing revenue from $2 million to $20 million, while also managing an international finance team. As a co-founding member at Adludio, Lauren contributed to raising approximately $10 million in seed and Series A funding. Other experience includes serving as an International Management Accountant at Actic Group, where complex financial models were developed, and as a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant at CooperVision, supporting SOX compliance. Earlier in career, Lauren was a Financial Controller at ooba Home Loans, overseeing a finance team and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Stellenbosch University, alongside CIMA certification.
