Jennifer Rose is an experienced freelance photographer specializing in flower photographs of Northwest Portland and its vicinity. In addition to photography, Jennifer serves as a Yoga and Meditation Teacher, as well as a strengths-focused coach, emphasizing beauty and meditation. Since April 2015, teaching at Village Home Education Resource Center involves leading Wacky Science classes for students aged 8 to 11 and Philosophy for those 15 and older. Jennifer has a strong background in educational writing, having contributed to various publishing projects, including work for Mondo Publishing, Benchmark Education Company, Bill Smith Studio, and others, focusing on Common Core Language Arts and Elementary Education. Previous roles include serving as a Yoga Teacher at the Himalayan Institute and as a Supervising Editor at Sundance/Newbridge Educational Publishing. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from New York University and a BA in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.
