Suzy Taylor has extensive experience in education, serving as an instructor at Village Home Education Resource Center since August 2006, where responsibilities include teaching language arts, composition, speech, and literature to students aged 8–18, as well as providing targeted tutoring for students facing writing challenges such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Prior to this, Suzy was an instructor at Pioneer Pacific College from March 2005 to January 2006, teaching various English and computer applications courses. Additionally, Suzy spent nearly two decades with the Anchorage School District, primarily as a teacher from 1981 to 2000, where roles included teaching high school composition, literature, and social studies, and the position of teacher/counselor at Steller Secondary School, supporting middle and high school students both academically and personally. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology from Central Washington University, complemented by studies at the University of Oregon, Western Washington University, and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
