Joe Kenney

Joe Kenney is an experienced public works professional with a robust background in infrastructure management and development. Currently serving as the Director of Public Works for the Village of Glenview since 2019, Joe Kenney oversees 35 employees and manages an annual budget exceeding $18 million, having previously held the position of Deputy Director. At the City of Fort Lauderdale, Joe Kenney successfully supervised 75 employees in the Engineering division and implemented cost-saving measures that resulted in a $600,000 reduction in expenses. Joe Kenney's prior experience includes serving as the Region Manager at Baxter & Woodman, where community engagement for neighborhood rehabilitation and the development of a 10-year capital improvement plan were key responsibilities. Joe Kenney's foundation in civil engineering is supported by a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
