Heather Rowe

Heather Rowe is an experienced professional in community development and economic planning, currently serving as the Director of Community Development for the Village of Libertyville since 2006. Rowe's career includes multiple roles within the Village of Libertyville, such as Economic Development Manager and Economic Development Coordinator. In addition, Rowe holds board positions with the GLMV Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lake County. Rowe is also a member of the Community Health Council at Advocate Condell Medical Center and is active on the ICSC Illinois State Board. Previously, Rowe represented the Illinois Route 53/120 Project on finance and land use committees and served on the Advisory Board for the Small Business Development Center. Educationally, Rowe earned a Master's degree in Urban Planning & Policy with a focus on Economic Development from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Economics from the University of Iowa.
