John Risko

John Risko has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. John began their career at Maple Leaf Bakery as a Financial Reporting Manager in 1997. John then worked at the Chicago Park District, first as a Deputy Comptroller from 2000 to 2004, and then as a Deputy Treasurer from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Atlanta Pediatric Therapy as a Controller until 2016.

In 2014, Risko joined the Village of Wilmette, first as a Payroll Analyst (2014-2016) and then as an Assistant Finance Director (2016-2020). John then moved to the Wilmette Public Library in 2020, where they served as a Finance Manager until 2023. Currently, they are working as the Finance Director at the Village of Lincolnwood, starting in 2023.

John Risko completed their MBA in International Business from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, from 1994 to 1996. John obtained their BSBA in Business and Accounting from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids, although the exact years are not specified.
