Micah Nuesse has a diverse work experience. Micah started their career in 1998 in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Staff Sergeant in Explosive Ordnance Disposal until 2005. Micah then transitioned to the Village of New Lenox, where they held various roles in the police department, including Patrol Officer (2007-2014), Police Detective (2014-2017), Detective Sergeant (2017-2020), and is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Police since November 2020.

Micah Nuesse's education history begins in 1998 when they attended the Community College of the Air Force. Micah obtained an Associate's degree in Military Applied Sciences with a focus on Explosives, which they completed in 2005.
