Hadley Skeffington-Vos is a seasoned public administration professional with extensive experience in municipal management. Current role as Deputy Village Manager at the Village of Palatine commenced in January 2022, following nearly nine years in various positions at the Village of Niles, Illinois, including Deputy Village Manager and Acting Village Manager. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Sterling, where responsibilities included coordinating city operations and developing policies. Palatine is a Village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is a northwestern residential suburb of Chicago. As of the 2011 census, the village had a total population of 68,858. Palatine operates under the Council-manager form of local government. Six councilmen are elected from their respective districts, while the entire village elects the Village Clerk and the Mayor. The council then hires a Village Manager to oversee the town's day-to-day operation. The current mayor is Jim Schwantz.
