Michael Linowes

Michael Linowes has a diverse background in the entertainment industry, with a focus on business affairs and legal aspects. Michael started their career as Counsel in the Business and Legal Affairs department at Miramax Films. After that, they worked as a Senior Associate in the Entertainment Group at Loeb & Loeb LLP. In 2002, they founded their own boutique entertainment law firm called Linowes Law Firm, where they served as Principal and specialized in providing legal services to independent production companies. In 2015, they joined Paramount Pictures as Senior Vice President in Business Affairs. Following their time at Paramount, they joined Alibaba Pictures Group Limited as Senior Counsel, where they led legal and business affairs efforts for the company's US-based international feature film and television operating unit. Currently, they serve as Executive Vice President of Business Affairs at Village Roadshow Entertainment Group.

Michael Linowes has a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
