Christopher Klimek is an accomplished film critic and essayist with extensive freelance experience across various prominent media platforms. Since January 2014, Klimek has contributed to The Dissolve, where Christopher writes film reviews and essays, and has been a radio reporter for WAMU 88.5 since November 2013, focusing on Star Trek features. Additional roles include writing for Slate Magazine, Village Voice Media, NPR, and Washington City Paper, showcasing expertise in film, pop culture, and theater criticism. Klimek holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from James Madison University and a certificate in Playwriting and Screenwriting from UCLA. Prior roles include teaching boxing fitness classes and serving as a Senior Proposal Specialist at Magellan Health Services.
