Villanova University
Teresa Boyer currently serves as the Assistant Vice Provost for Centers and Institutes and the Founding Director of the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership at Villanova University. The institute focuses on fostering women's advancement through education, advocacy, and community-building, emphasizing gender equity as critical to the common good. Additionally, Teresa holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Education and Counseling at Villanova University. Prior to these roles, Teresa was the Executive Director at the Center for Women and Work at Rutgers University, where Teresa developed programs and research related to gender and education, particularly for girls and women in nontraditional fields. Teresa's extensive career includes various roles in higher education and research dedicated to advancing women's leadership and educational equity, supported by a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, along with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Villanova University.
