Wen Mao

Wen Mao, PhD, serves as The Helen and William O'Toole Dean of the Villanova School of Business since August 2023, acting as the chief executive, academic, and fiscal officer for the institution. With a long-standing association with Villanova School of Business since August 1995, Wen Mao has held various roles including Professor, Associate Professor of Economics, Vice Dean, Associate Dean of Faculty, Interim Vice Dean, and Chair of the Economics Department, contributing to enhancements in research productivity and student experience. Prior experience includes a role as Visiting Assistant Professor at Tulane University from August 1994 to August 1995. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a BA in Management from Shanghai Maritime Institute.
