Leandro Figueiredo

Leandro Figueiredo has over 13 years of experience in the field of automation and maintenance management, currently serving as Gerente de manutenção at Villares Metals since February 2010. In this role, Leandro leads projects to enhance collaboration between automation engineers and maintenance technicians, managing a team of 17 professionals to boost productivity. Previously, Leandro held the position of Automation Engineer at VAI Ingdesi Automation, focusing on HMI/PLC development, including significant contributions to a new rolling mill project at Villares Metals in partnership with an Austrian company. Leandro's educational background includes an MBA in People Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
