Deimante Rimkute

Deimante Rimkute is currently a Teaching Assistant at Vilnius University and a Visiting Researcher at Maastricht University Faculty of Law since September 2024. Rimkute serves as a City Council Member and Chair of the Committee on Environment and Energy at Vilnius City Municipality since April 2019. Additional experience includes a Stagiare position at the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2024, a Judicial Clerk role at the Court of Appeals from January 2023 to July 2024, and a Junior Research Fellow and Specialist position at the Law Institute of Lithuania from November 2020 to February 2023. Rimkute also worked as a Junior Associate and Legal Assistant at WALLESS from September 2020 to December 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Vilnius University (2022-2027), a Master of Arts (MA) in Law from the same institution (2017-2022), and studies at Ghent University (October 2021 - February 2022).
