Eeva Alho

Eeva Alho is a seasoned economist and chief specialist at the Ministry of the Environment of Finland since May 2021, with prior experience as a senior specialist at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, where Eeva focused on SME financing and sustainable finance. Eeva's extensive background includes roles at the Bank of Finland, where significant contributions were made to financial stability and banking sector reforms, as well as positions involving policy-oriented research at Pellervon taloustutkimus and the International Trade Centre. Eeva holds a Doctor of Science in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki and has completed PhD studies in Finance at the Helsinki School of Economics. Other educational qualifications include an MSc in Economics with a specialization in Finance from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
