Erika Kuročkina currently serves as a Vilnius City Council Member since April 2023 and has held the position of Vice-minister at the Ekonomikos ir inovacijų ministerija since February 2021. In this role, Erika is responsible for the defense industry and innovation, overseeing significant projects such as the attraction of Rheinmetall investment and the launch of the Milinvest fund. Under Erika's prior role as Advisor to the Minister, key initiatives included the establishment of an open data ecosystem, coordination of a €115 million digitization reform, and involvement in the creation of the Innovation Agency Lithuania. Erika's career at the Vilnius City Municipality spanned from December 2011 to February 2021, encompassing roles such as Senior Officer, where responsibilities included tax policy analysis, legal act preparation, and budget forecasting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from Vilnius University.
