Gediminas Almantas is a Lithuanian lawyer and businessperson who has held various positions in the aviation industry. Gediminas is currently a board member at Vilnius International Airport.
Almantas began their career as an intern at Bank Alpinum in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Gediminas then worked as an attorney at law and managing partner at Law Firm "Almantas, Ginkus & Partners" in Vilnius, Lithuania.
In 2006, Almantas became a free lance worker for the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. Gediminas then took on the role of senior associate and aviation law expert at Sorainen law offices.
In 2009, Almantas became CEO of Vilnius International Airport. Gediminas then became an industrial PhD fellow and CSR advisor at Copenhagen Airports. In 2010, they were appointed president of the Swiss and Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania.
Almantas has also served on the board of various organizations, including the Lithuanian Airports, EPSO-G, Open Society Fund-Lithuania, and ACI EUROPE. Gediminas is currently a member of the compliance and mediation committee at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC.
