Ethan Fan

Ethan Fan has been in the tech industry since 2006. Ethan started as an SQA Test Intern at Symantec, then moved on to a Software Engineer and CRM Software Implementation Intern at Fujitsu. In 2007, they became a Software Developer at SAP Lab and prototyped the first CRM app inside Pebble watch. Ethan then worked at Firework from 2018 to 2020 as a Software Engineer where they created and led mobile video creation tool, built video transcoding infrastructure and pipeline, and implemented edge AI on mobile. In 2020, they co-founded Mixpose (Techstar 21) and in 2021, they became the General Manager at 9 Count, Inc. Prior to this, they were a Co-founder at Vimo Labs (StartX S2017).

Ethan Fan attended Thamassat University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Ethan then attended Santa Clara University from 2005 to 2007, but did not receive a degree. Ethan has no additional certifications.
