Jaime Baraqui

Jaime Baraqui has had diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Their most recent position was as the Information Technology Manager - Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Viña Concha y Toro since March 2022. Before that, they worked as the Technology and Transformation Manager - CIO & CTO at Bupa Chile from November 2019 to December 2021. Prior to these roles, Jaime served as the Commercial Manager for the Financial Industry at Tata Consultancy Services and later as the Director of Cognitive Business Operations and Operations and Technology Manager. Before joining Bupa Chile, they worked as the Operations Manager at Servipag, where they were responsible for operational processes, technology infrastructure, information security, and customer service. Jaime began their career at Citi where they held various roles, including Operations Manager for Retail Banking, Sub-Manager of Operations for the Credit Card area, Project Leader for the Credit Card area, and IT Project Manager.

Jaime Baraqui has a diverse education history. In 1989-1995, they attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and obtained a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering. In recent years, they completed an Online Program in Cloud and DevOps Transformation at MIT Professional Education in 2020. Additionally, they pursued several diploma programs at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, including Digital Business and ICTs Transformation, Strategic Management of Information and Communications Technologies, and Business Intelligence. Jaime has also obtained certifications in Python for data science and big data, Learning Python, Python Quick Start, and Scrum Fundamentals.
