Joel Weiden

Joel Weiden has extensive experience in strategic communications and corporate consulting. Joel is currently the Co-Founder & Managing Director at East Point Advisors, where they work with clients in Vietnam, ASEAN, and the U.S. on a range of strategic communications matters. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Corporate Communications at VinaCapital, where they led corporate communications for one of Vietnam's largest asset management and investment companies. Joel also has experience as a Strategic Advisor at an independent consultancy, where they worked with clients in the U.S., Vietnam, and Cambodia on corporate communications and strategy. Additionally, they have held senior positions at FleishmanHillard, Communications Collective (Vietnam), Weber Shandwick, Nielsen, RLM Finsbury, and Kreab Gavin Anderson. Throughout their career, Joel has worked with a variety of clients and has demonstrated expertise in areas such as media relations, content development, crisis communications, and executive transitions.

Joel Weiden obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from The George Washington University in 1992. Joel further pursued their education at the same university and completed their Master's degree in Political Management in 1994.
