Kiet Bui

Kiet Bui is an NLP Research Engineer at VinBigData since October 2021, focusing on language representation, opinion mining, language modeling, and large language models. Key projects include aspect-based sentiment analysis for Vinbase's chatbots, data analytics through opinion mining, quantized finetuning of large language models (LLMs), and enhancing supervised finetuning for LLMs. Prior to this role, Kiet served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University from April 2019 to June 2020, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution between 2017 and 2020. Kiet's educational background also includes attendance at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted from September 2012 to June 2014.
