Kristi Deetz has extensive experience in higher education and community leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Foundation and Senior Director of Advancement at Vincennes University since May 2006. In this role, Kristi aims to enhance connections with various stakeholders supporting the university. Prior to this, Kristi held the position of Senior Director of External Relations, overseeing efforts in student recruitment and brand management. Additionally, Kristi contributed as an Instructor for Leadership Knox County, designing and facilitating a course on Community Leadership. Early career experience includes roles as a Freelance Audio Technician and as Producer/Director at WVUT-TV, along with teaching in the VU Broadcasting Department. Kristi holds a Master’s degree in Executive Development in Public Service and two undergraduate degrees from Ball State University and Vincennes University, respectively.
