Ryan Diaz

Ryan Diaz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Ryan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Vincere Health since October 2021. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Capital One from August 2019 to October 2021, starting as an Associate Software Engineer and later promoted to a Senior Associate Software Engineer. At Capital One, they worked on projects involving AWS S3, Lambda, Amazon Connect, Lex, and Polly to integrate NLP and automation into the customer calling experience. Ryan also utilized Node, Vue, and Angular to create user-friendly experiences and streamline manual processes.

Before joining Capital One, Ryan worked at Taxfyle as a Web Developer Intern from January 2019 to May 2019. There, they focused on translating wireframes into functional pages using React and JavaScript and fixing bugs to enhance user experience.

In 2018, Ryan gained valuable internship experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Summer Technology Analyst Intern. Ryan built a UI to streamline internal processes using React, Spring Boot, and an internal React toolkit. Ryan also worked collaboratively in an Agile development environment and conducted regular meetings with team leads to ensure client requirements were met.

Ryan's earlier work experience includes a role as a Senior Computer Operator at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from June 2015 to May 2018. In this position, they contributed to website redesign, VB macro development to increase workflow efficiency, and managing student assessment records.

Ryan's work experience dates back to 2013 when they interned at the US Coast Guard for a summer.

Ryan Diaz attended the University of Miami from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. During their time at the university, they also pursued minors in Mathematics and Japanese. In addition to their formal education, Ryan obtained certifications in various areas. In March 2018, they completed the "Machine Learning & AI Foundations: Value Estimations" course from Lynda.com. In December 2017, they completed the "Blockchain Basics" course, also from Lynda.com. Furthermore, in January 2020, Ryan obtained the "Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
