Ian Burke is an experienced construction professional with over 13 years of work experience. Ian has held various roles at different companies, starting with Balfour Beatty in 2008 as a Package Manager/Site Manager. Ian then progressed to the role of Site Manager at Balfour Beatty Construction from 2010 to 2011, where they were responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering/construction projects.

In 2011, Ian joined Balfour Beatty Construction Northern as a Site Manager, overseeing the internal fit-out of a new school build. Ian was also responsible for the demolition of existing buildings and completion of ground works.

Prior to that, they attended Stockport College of Building from 1992 to 1995, earning an H.N.C., Ph2a, and Ph2b in Civil Engineering. Ian also obtained a City and Guilds certification in Horticulture from Wythenshawe College from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, they received a general education at High School Education from 1979 to 1984 and Our Ladies High School, where they obtained C.S.E's. Ian Burke ICIOB also holds a certification in First Aid at Work obtained from St John Ambulance in September 2015.
