Eagle Wu is the founder and CEO of Vinci VR, a virtual reality startup based in Boston, MA. Eagle has a background in software engineering and has worked in various technical roles at startups in the Boston area.
In 2015, Eagle founded Babson Code, a student-run organization that taught introductory coding classes to middle and high school students in the Boston area. As president of Babson Code, Eagle grew the organization to over 30 members and taught classes to over 200 students.
In 2016, Eagle worked as the lead developer at Classroom Markets, a startup that created a web platform to help teachers run classroom economies. At Classroom Markets, Eagle led development of the web platform and built features to help teachers manage their classroom economies.
In 2017, Eagle won 2nd place in the Money 2020 Global Hackathon with their team's application Leaf. Leaf is a low frequency bluetooth beacon application that allows restaurant goers to pay without pulling out their wallet. The streamlined method of the dining experience allows for more throughput of diners while playing on diner's psychology to pay for more products.
Eagle used the winnings from the hackathon to buy the HTC Vive VR system, which jump started their virtual reality startup, Vinci VR. Vinci VR is a platform that allows users to create and share virtual reality experiences.
Eagle Wu has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Babson College and is currently studying computer science at Horizons School of Technology.
