Pirkka Rannikko

Pirkka Rannikko has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career at Evolvit as a Systems Designer, where they were responsible for requirements engineering, interaction and UI design, and web front-end development. They also facilitated workshops and supported sales activities related to UX design.

After that, Pirkka worked at Pocum Oy as a Development Manager, where they served as a product owner for a SaaS web application and managed the development team. Their responsibilities included specifying business processes, interaction and UI design, project management, and continuous process development.

Pirkka then established their own company, Pirkka Rannikko Tmi, and worked as a Homedad and Freelance UX & Web Designer.

They later joined Basware as a UX Designer and then as a Product Owner, working on the Purchase-to-Pay product development program. Their tasks included service design, customer and user interviews, backlog grooming, web UI design, usability testing, and product documentation.

Pirkka also worked as a Service Designer and Product Owner for Checkout Finland Oy (part of OP Financial Group), where they aimed to create a new service product. They performed basic legwork, UX design, and product management tasks.

They joined OP Financial Group as a Service Designer and Product Owner to create a new service product for Checkout Finland Oy and renew the current payment service customer extranet. Their work included UX design, product management, and basic legwork.

Pirkka then joined Vincit as a UX and Service Designer, focusing on various customer projects. Their responsibilities included concept, UI, UX, service and business design, research, project management, mentoring, and training.

Afterwards, Pirkka worked at EVA Global as a Senior Product Owner / Designer, where they worked in-house as a Product Owner for Agile teams and also did service and UX design. They were responsible for setting up and developing the product management function in the company.

Currently, Pirkka is working at Vincit as a Project Lead in a public sector software development project. They cover multiple roles, including Product Owner, Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Service Designer. They also work as an external freelancer for Vincit Co-Ducks.
