Sini Sopo

Senior UX Designer at Vincit

Sini Sopo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries.

Sini started their career as a Graphic Designer at Grey Interactive in 1997 and then worked as an Art Director at Spray in 1998.

In 1999, they joined Satama Interactive as a Concept Designer, focusing on user-centered design for online services and marketing campaigns in the telecommunications sector. Sini stayed with the company until 2006.

From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Designer at Satama / Trainers' House, leading large-scale online service design projects for local and international clients.

In 2008, they joined Frantic as a Senior Designer for a brief period of time before moving to Blaut, where they worked as a UX Designer and a member of the Blaut Network from 2011 to 2015.

Sini then joined Idean in 2018 as a Senior UX Designer, working on long and short-term UX and concept design projects, including facilitating a design workshop for kids. Sini also participated in a leadership training program by Brene Brown and Sitomo in 2020. Sini'stenure at Idean ended in January 2021.

In 2021, they joined Motley Agency as a Senior UX Designer, where they worked on online service design projects for b2b and b2c industries such as e-commerce, real estate, forestry, and finance. Motley Agency became part of Vincit in July 2022.

Lastly, they are currently working at Vincit as a Senior UX Designer, starting in July 2022.

Throughout their career, they have worked on various projects for local and international clients and start-ups, covering sectors including modern banking and finance services, lifestyle, health and wellness services, as well as tools for b2b. Sini has also collaborated with leading digital design agencies in Helsinki.

Sini Sopo began their education in 1992 at Laajasalon Opisto, where they studied visual communications for one year. In 1993, they enrolled at Tampereen Taiteen ja Viestinnän Oppilaitos and pursued a degree in Media Arts, completing their studies in 1996. Continuing their education, Sini Sopo then attended Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan from 1997 to 1999, earning a Master's degree in New Media.
