Michael Vimont

Michael Vimont has a diverse background in data engineering and analytics. Their most recent role is as a Lead Data Engineer at Vindex, where they are responsible for migrating data ingestion modules and handling the deployment of AWS Airflow MWAA platform. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Pipeline Engineer at Perceptive Automata, where they designed and managed scalable pipelines and led the AWS Cloud Security initiative. Michael also has experience as a Cognitive Data Engineer at Essextec, a Database Administrator & Web Applications Developer at TVB, an Adjunct Instructor at New York University, a Research Consultant at the International Institute of Akron, a Focus Group Developer and Analyst at the Family and Children First Council, and a Supervising Ethnographic Researcher at The University of Akron. Michael Vimont completed their Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Anthropology from The University of Akron in 2013. Michael later pursued further education and obtained an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford from 2013 to 2015.
