Jillian Scavone

Jillian Scavone, PhD, currently serves as the Scientific Director at Vindico Medical Education since July 2019, having previously held the role of Associate Scientific Director. From January 2014 to July 2019, Scavone worked at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) as a Senior Medical Writer and Oncology Scientist, contributing to the development and review of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology® and other clinical content. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst and Clinical Writer at ECRI Institute, focusing on oncology therapeutics and healthcare research, and in quality improvement at the American College of Physicians. Scavone's early career involved research on substance use at Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania, culminating in a PhD in Neuroscience from Jefferson Health and a BA in Neural and Behavioral Sciences from Haverford College.
