Sasha Persaud has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They started their career as a Pharmacy Extern, gaining practical experience in various areas such as managed care, critical care, acute care, ambulatory care, emergency medicine, hospital practice, and community practice. They completed several experiential rotations at different locations in New Jersey.
After their externship, Sasha joined Walgreens as a Pharmacy Intern in June 2020. They then progressed to become a Graduate Pharmacist Intern in May 2022 and later transitioned into the role of a Licensed Pharmacist in November 2022.
In January 2023, Sasha joined Vindico Medical Education as a Junior Associate Scientific Director.
Sasha Persaud completed their education at Rutgers University–New Brunswick from 2016 to 2022, obtaining a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. They also have additional certifications, including being an Immunizing Pharmacist and Licensed Pharmacist from the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, obtained in November 2022. Sasha obtained certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) from the American Heart Association in March 2021. Additionally, they obtained Immunization Delivery certification from the APhA (American Pharmacist Association) in February 2021, and Pharmacy Technician certification from the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy in June 2020.
