Hussam Haroun

Hussam Haroun is the current Director of Automation at Vineland Research. Hussam has previous experience working as an Operations Management Consultant at SunGrid, and before that, they were an Electrical Designer at Morrison Hershfield.

Hussam has a strong background in electrical design, and has experience working on various projects for both government and private clients. Hussam is a skilled AutoCAD user, and is proficient in designing electrical systems for both new construction and existing buildings.

In their current role at Vineland Research, Hussam is responsible for leading the automation team and overseeing all automated processes and systems. Hussam works closely with the leadership team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Hussam Haroun studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering as an undergraduate at Toronto Metropolitan University. Hussam then pursued a Master's of Engineering in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at McMaster University. Hussam is also certified as a Professional Engineer by Professional Engineers Ontario.

They work with Cheryl Lennox - Director, Marketing & Communications, Phillip Stephan - Vice President, Business and Client Development, and Chris McQueen - Vice President, Operations. Their manager is Ian Potter, Chief Executive Officer.
