Marty Bruck

Marty Bruck has worked in the software engineering field for over 20 years. Marty began their career in 2000 as a Senior Engineering Consultant at Leapnet Consulting, where they were tasked with re-engineering legacy software and developing new software to meet the needs of a rapidly growing hedge fund company. In 2001, they joined Stark Investments as a Senior Architect/Lead Software Developer and Front Office Department Manager. In 2007, Bruck became the Senior Software Development/Software Director at Archiblox, LLC. where they set up and managed the development effort for a new web-based application. After leaving Archiblox in 2009, they worked as a Development Manager at Yoga and Food for You. In 2010, Bruck became a Senior Software Engineer at Centare and a Consulting Engineer at ManpowerGroup. In 2013, they took on the role of Technical Lead/Integration Architect at Connecture. From 2014 to 2017, Bruck worked as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Omni Resources. Marty then joined Oracle in 2017 as a Principal Engineer at Oracle Data Cloud. In 2021, Bruck began working as a Principal Software Engineer at Vineti, where they are responsible for driving the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product manages, and engineers.

Marty Bruck obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1978 and 1982. Marty then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from Marquette University which they completed in 2006. During this time, they also obtained a Masters of Science in Computing from Marquette University between 1996 and 2006. Additionally, Marty Bruck has obtained certifications in TypeScript Essential Training from LinkedIn in October 2022, Ruby on Rails 5 Essential Training from LinkedIn in January 2022, and is currently working towards a Certified Scrum Master certification from scrum.org.
