Boris Alessio has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Boris is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at VINHOOD since 2022. Before that, they founded and managed Il mondo di Emilia, an innovative editorial-tech brand that offers personalized children's storybooks, from 2017 onwards. Prior to that, Boris held various positions at L'Oréal, including Brand General Manager in Italy and Spain, Marketing and Digital Director in France, and International Marketing Manager for the Asia region. Boris also worked as the Marketing Manager for L'Oréal's Italian market and as a Global Marketing Manager for hair color. In addition, Boris has experience as the Co-Owner of a luxury shopping marketplace called Private Griffe Italia. Boris has also worked as a Humanitarian Worker for Planète Urgence and as a Business Analyst for FCA - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Boris Alessio has a diverse education history. Boris first attended Politecnico di Torino from 1992 to 1997, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering. During this period, they also spent a year at Université catholique de Louvain, studying International Marketing and earning another Engineer's degree. Prior to attending Politecnico di Torino, Boris completed a Bachelor's degree in General Studies at Wirsberg Gymnasium - Wuerzburg in 1991-1992.

Later on, Boris pursued further education at INSEAD from 2002 to 2004. Boris obtained a CEDEP degree, specializing in Business. In 2007-2008, Boris enrolled at Cranfield University, where they earned a Post-degree certificate in International Business. Additionally, they returned to Politecnico di Torino and completed another Engineer's degree, this time in Engineering/Industrial Management.
