Isik Ilbay

Isik Ilbay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the polymers and chemicals industry. Currently serving as the Global Technical Director at Vinmar International since June 2015, Isik oversees technology initiatives across Europe, India, and China. Prior to this role, Isik held the position of Director of Performance Polymers at ExxonMobil Chemicals, managing technical operations for polyolefins and related applications in Europe. Isik's career also includes significant achievements at The Dow Chemical Company as an Associate Manager in Plastics TS&D, where expertise encompassed various packaging applications and product marketing. Earlier experience includes serving as Production Area Manager and R&D Research Scientist at SASA Polyester Sanayi A.Ş. Isik's academic background includes a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an MSc and PhD from Cukurova University.
