Rory Burbeck

Rory Burbeck has a diverse work experience in various industries. They began their career as a Promotions Assistant at Entercom in 2012 and then moved on to working as a Stage Manager at Texas Performing Arts in 2013. In 2013, they also joined SXSW as a Content Editor and later became a Senior Music Festival Programmer, working until 2019. During their time at SXSW, Rory also took on the role of Production Manager at FEELS Arts & Music Festival in 2018. In 2017, Rory co-founded Badhouse Creative and served as the Finance Director until 2022. They also worked as a Project Manager at The Recording Academy from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Rory is employed as a Financial Analyst at VMP (Vinyl Me, Please) since 2021.

Rory Burbeck received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Marketing from Texas State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In 2018, they enrolled at Austin Community College to pursue a degree in Accounting, which they completed in 2021.
