German Gomez-Herrero

German Gomez-Herrero has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. German began their career in 2002 as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, where they worked until 2003. German then continued their research at the university as a Researcher from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, German joined the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow, where they worked until 2014. Since 2014, German has held various positions at Vio.com (formerly FindHotel), starting as a Senior Data Scientist and progressing to Lead Data Scientist. Their most recent role at Vio.com is Chief Technology Officer, a position they have held since November 2017.

German Gomez-Herrero has a strong background in education. German obtained their PhD in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their MSc in Information Technology from the same university between 2001 and 2003. German also holds an MSc in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza, which they obtained from 1997 to 2003.
