Karoly Szanto has a diverse work experience in various engineering management and software development roles. Karoly started their career at Oc€ srl as an Intermediate Java Developer and later transitioned to a Tcl/Tk developer, responsible for the development and maintenance of an automated test case execution tool.

Karoly then worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at PITlab, where they were the sole developer for the MONARCA project, a personal monitoring system for bipolar patients.

Karoly also worked at Noitso A/S as a C# and ASP.NET developer before joining 3Pillar Global Romania as a Senior Software Developer. Notable achievements at Vivino include breaking away from a frontend monolith, creating a new checkout flow, and achieving 100% year-over-year growth in organic traffic.

Currently, Karoly holds the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Vio.com, where they lead the engineering team.
