Maarten Engelen

Maarten Engelen has a diverse work experience. Maarten is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Vio.com since April 2022. Prior to that, they were (Founding) Investor at YourCampus starting from February 2021. From June 2016 to February 2022, Maarten worked at Hiber as the CTO & Co-Founder. Maarten also founded and served as the Founder & CTO at Treatwell.com, a prominent European marketplace for beauty and health services, from November 2012 to May 2016. Before that, they co-founded Siteworkers in October 2009 and ElasticSite in March 2010. Maarten was the owner of XS Networks BV from March 2007 to December 2012. Additionally, they co-founded Centereo in January 2010 and owned Iridia ICT Services from March 2001 to October 2009.

Maarten Engelen attended Johan van Oldenbarnevelt Gymnasium from 1994 to 2001. Maarten then pursued a degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam from 2001 to 2003. Following this, Maarten Engelen continued their education in the same field at Utrecht University from 2003 to 2008 without specifying a degree.
