Zephyr Zhou's work experience includes the following roles:

1. Contract Frontend Developer at Violett (2022-present): Currently working as a frontend developer on a contract basis.

2. Grader for Computational Science at UC Santa Barbara (September 2022-December 2022): Graded codes and math homework for a Computer Science course, resolved class questions, and provided feedback on student performance.

3. Software Engineer Intern, Development Team Leader at AeroSpec (June 2021-May 2022): Developed a full-stack user portal and API for a COVID-19 response program. Built the UI using JavaScript, React.js, Material-UI, and D3, and created a web service with AWS Lambda Functions in Python for backend operations.

4. Software Engineer Intern at Aucean Tech Ltd. (February 2022-April 2022): Developed an underwater parking base optical recognition system using computer vision techniques.

5. Software Engineer Intern at Pulumi Corporation (June 2020-September 2020): Designed and developed a CMS web application and OAuth server for a startup company. Built website previews using React and deployed the application and server's AWS cloud infrastructure using TypeScript code with Pulumi.

6. Co-Founder, Registered Shareholder at Hangzhou Xiaoqiao Ltd. (December 2018-December 2019): Co-founded and held a registered shareholder position in a company.

Zephyr Zhou's education history began in 2016 when they attended Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom, where they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science. Following that, from 2018 to 2021, Zephyr pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science at the University of Washington. Currently, Zephyr is enrolled at UC Santa Barbara and is expected to complete their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science in 2024.
