Role overVIOOH

The Regional Director role is a senior position within the DSP Partnerships team based in London, reporting into the Global DSP Partnerships Director. We are looking for an experienced partnerships manager with strong commercial acumen and a flair for building excellent client relationships.

The role will involve working closely alongside the Global DSP Partnerships Director to build the strategy for DSP management, with a particular focus on the EMEA region. The role will be required to drive revenue growth across partners in the region, fostering deep partnerships both technically and commercially, and delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

This role will give you the autonomy to be an integral part of setting best practices and processes for DSPs, managing an existing client base, some of whom are very new to VIOOH and programmatic out of home buying.

What we’ll expect from you

  • As part of the global DSP partnerships team, manage and grow revenue across key DSP accounts. 
  • Work with DSP Partner Managers in other regions to manage global accounts collaboratively and ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Plan and execute the strategy for EMEA DSP management, and drive adoption across the team. Be able to showcase and report progress against strategy.
  • Work with other teams internally to deliver business objectives including:
    • BD to drive sales from DSP commercial teams
    • Product to ensure DSP priorities are represented, and building the business case for key requirements 
    • Supply team to provide valuable DSP updates for Media Owners, and equally ensure we receive supply insights + collateral in return
    • Marketing to build the team’s platform in the industry and identify opportunities with the DSPs
  • Manage DSPs on technical, operational and commercial requirements;
    • Own governance & day-to-day engagement with the DSPs
    • Drive revenue, the pipeline and business across your DSP partner set
    • Host Quarterly Business Reviews and share key metrics on a regular basis
    • Ensure product developments are shared with the DSPs
    • Support with deal troubleshooting + technical issue resolution
  • Be willing to travel to client meetings and international conferences 
  • Be willing to attend, and even participate in, industry events 
  • Be a DSP subject matter expert and advocate for these partners in both internal and external matters

What we want from you

Working on the demand side requires energy, quick thinking and an organised discipline. Our demand partners are a critical gateway to client revenue and managing DSPs can be the real difference between winning and losing campaigns. We are looking for:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years in programmatic, ideally in DOOH, but as a minimum across other advertising channels;
  • Be well established in managing partner relationships; ideally with previous direct experience of DSPs, including contacts, a knowledge of their structure and ways of working;
  • Demonstrable success in planning and executing commercial strategy, including go-to-market;.
  • A brilliant communicator, the ability to speak another European language is a big plus;
  • A true self-starter; this role works with multiple markets meaning adaptability, a growth mindset and the ability to problem solve;
  • However, an excellent team player is also key, happy collaborating and solving with #teamVIOOH, DSP partners and the local media owners;
  • Committed to excellence with a service ethos running through their veins;
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across DSP including Inventory, Product, Sales and Account Management teams. Able to interact with all levels at a DSP (or similar business) from C-suite to senior partnerships contacts;
  • Intellectual curiosity about ad technology, an interest and affinity for understanding the VIOOH Product;
  • Prior experience of people management is a bonus;
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop and execute account plans and build relationships (both internally and externally with clients);
