Kai Yamaguchi Fasting currently serves as a Deputy Member of the Board and Chief Consultant for Product Management - Account Payments at Vipps MobilePay since May 2023. Concurrently, Kai has been an Advisory Board Member for the Norwegian-African Business Association since January 2015. Previously, Kai held the position of Chief Consultant for Product Management - Payments at MobilePay from April 2022 to May 2023 and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Driftwood AI from January 2021 to January 2023, specializing in AI modeling for remote sensing. From November 2017 to April 2022, Kai worked as a Senior Advisor for Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Blue Code International AG, contributing to the establishment of the European Mobile Payment Association. Additional experience includes roles such as Business Developer for Northern Europe at World Data Lab, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystems, Team Leader for International Child Protection at Save the Children Denmark, and Head of Coordination and Partnerships at the United Nations from 2004 to 2012. Kai holds a Master's degree in Political Geography from The University of Göttingen.
