Shane Mirkovich

Shane Mirkovich has extensive work experience in executive roles. Shane served as the SVP - Global Client Experience & Pro Services at VIQ Solutions starting from April 2021. Previously, from November 2018 to April 2021, they held the position of VP - Global Production Operations at the same company. In this role, they managed various aspects of the business, including accounting functions, contract negotiations, HR activities, sales, marketing, and product development. Shane led a team of department managers and was responsible for overseeing production operations across multiple business units.

Prior to their time at VIQ Solutions, Shane was the COO of Net Transcripts, Inc. from June 1996 to November 2018. As a co-owner, they played a key role in defining the organization's vision and driving business profitability and growth. Under their leadership, the company saw significant revenue growth, from $60K in 1996 to $7M annually in 2018. Shane also successfully pitched sales presentations that contributed to a 13% organic growth for five consecutive years.

Shane Mirkovich started their education journey at Harper College in 1987, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree. From 1989 to 1991, they attended Northern Illinois University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication. Continuing their education at the same institution, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from 1991 to 1993.
