Chad Garner

Chad Garner, DPhil, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and genomics. Chad currently holds the position of VP, Product Executive, Respiratory at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Clinical Development at ImmunityBio, Inc. and Vice President, Liquid Genomics at NantHealth. Chad also has experience as the Senior Director of Clinical Analytics and Bioinformatics at NantOmics, LLC and as the Head of Data Analytics and Head of Bioinformatics at Human Longevity, Inc. Chad has held academic positions at the School of Medicine, UC Irvine, where they worked as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Bioinformatics, High Throughput Genomics Facility at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Chad has also served as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London; Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' Hospital and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley. Chad'scareer began as a Scientist at Sequana Therapeutics, Inc. Chad's expertise spans various aspects of genomics, clinical development, and bioinformatics.

Chad Garner, DPhil, received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University in the years 1988 to 1993. Later, they pursued their DPhil in Quantitative Genetics at the University of Oxford from 1996 to 1999.
