Rajesh Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of global health and infectious diseases. Rajesh started their career at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Research Fellow and Visiting Scientist. Rajesh then worked at the World Health Organization as a Scientist and Policy Adviser for global infectious diseases. Rajesh later became a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School before joining Google as a Contractor. Rajesh also served as a Consultant for multiple companies, specializing in infectious diseases. Rajesh worked at Stanford University School of Medicine as an Adjunct Affiliate and Senior Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Global Health. Rajesh also had significant roles at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies, where they served as a Medical Director and later as a Senior Director in Clinical Development and Corporate Strategy for global TB projects. Most recently, they held executive positions at Vir Biotechnology, including Vice President of Business Development and Global Health/Pandemic Preparedness, as well as Head of the Global Health Portfolio. Rajesh Gupta completed their education history with the following degrees: a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Stanford University School of Medicine from 2004 to 2010, an MS in Health Services Research from Stanford University from 2005 to 2010, an MPH in Infectious Diseases from Yale University School of Medicine from 1997 to 1999, and a BS and BA in Cell Biology and Psychology, respectively, from Tulane University from 1993 to 1997.
